Leap Year

No event, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Leap Year!

A leap year is a year that contains one extra day, February 29, to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical year. Leap years occur every four years, and this additional day is added to compensate for the fact that Earth's orbit around the sun takes approximately 365.25 days. The extra day helps maintain alignment between the calendar and the changing seasons.
