This is the official holiday night to celebrate the live of “Scotland’s Bard” Robert Burns. The word Nicht comes from the Scots word for night. The first Burns Supper was held in 1801 by his friends marking the anniversary of his death. There are many Burns suppers held in January throughout the area- check the calendar for some of our favorites!
